Moving in to a new web address

I was using my web address for quite some time. It was a little difficult for others to understand when had to spell it. They always wondered about an ‘i’ in the address. I had to confirm twice that it was not a mistake.

Anyway, it is going to be expired soon. So this time instead of renewing it, I decided to change the web address. I wanted it to be more representation of my name without any missing alphabet. And by this time the .dev domain has been available for the public. So I tried with and also But both have already been taken and no longer available. Now I had to come up with some “creative” name. After some thoughts and a few options, I decided to go with

Now it has two ‘i’s. I wanted to trim it down a little more, like But then on second thought, for not doing that I had decided to change my web address in the first place. Now, no more confusion with missing alphabets and confused pronunciations.

Now that .dev is a very new domain, it might confuse some people. Still, I decided to go with it. Because, since I am a software developer, my web address can introduce myself as a developer. I hope others will understand that. Hey, at least they would not wonder about a missing ‘i’.

The website for was hosted along with my friend Iftekhar Bhuiyan’s website [1]. I am very thankful to him for providing a little space for my website and helped me to understand how things work with websites and WordPress.

Now, I decided to purchase my own hosting storage. I want to learn how to maintain a website. Hence, having my own control panel and hosting storage for my own website is a way in. You will never learn until you handle your own things yourself.

I guess I am learning many new things now. As you can see, this website (or you may want to call it as a blog, perhaps) is up and running fine.

I have imported all of my past blog posts from And this time, I am going to use this space of mine,, on the internet, as an earnest part of my life.
